About the artist

Leslie Perez is a self-taught artist who has recently began creating paintings 2020. Leslie is from Atlanta, Georgia. " Before the pandemic I was overwhelmed with daily life and I would work 60-70 hours a week I ended up losing my art and a part of myself. In 2020, during the pandemic I was strucked with so much solitude. I would paint almost everyday in my room and would spend most of my time in my backyard with my dogs. Painting for me has always been an outlet to capture life's beauty. I knew life was too short after so many people had lost their lives during the pandemic. I finally chased my dream to become one day a full-time artist and hope my journey can help more people become more in touch with their artistic side".
